I brought my assistant with me today. I like working with other people, it's always more fun to be a part of a team. Lone Ranger work isn't fun or healthy! When I play Lone Ranger I sometimes forget that I'm a dog!
Bailey is older than I am, but I'm smarter than he is! Really. It's a proven fact that Standard Poodles are ranked 98 on the trainability scale, and Golden's are ranked in the mid 90's. Wheaten Terriers are in the 70's. I believe what that translates to is that he is more stubborn than I am, and I'm more eager to please!
So far today has been a good day. The sun is shinning! No wind! I don't even need an extra coat! Things are quiet at the office right now but I understand that a bunch of genealogy people are meeting here for lunch. AHHHHHHHHH I don't like it when they come because I have to lock myself in the office.
Before I head home tonight I have to stop at a couple of bars and pick up coats for the homeless. I won't be drinking because I want to keep my trim figure, but the guys at the bar are so kind to collect stuff for people on the street. Or the bar regulars are so kind to forget their coats late and night and not remember to come back and look for them!
Either way, it's a win/win for the homeless!
Just sayin......

Welcome to My World!
First order of business was to make sure the man from the roofing company was ok. I checked him out, and he was ok. Then I had to patrol the downstairs. Someone had left a door open that allowed me to check out things down stairs. You may not realized it, but I have a very important job and it takes quite a bit of time to keep up with everything.
After taking care of most of my responsibilities, I had a little snack and a nap in the warm sun of the glass doors! Most days I really like coming to work. Other days there is just too much going on around here and I'd rather stay at home. Today is a good day. Busy but not crazy. There is a big people meeting tonight so I'll lock myself in my office and try to go unnoticed!
I'm looking forward to the days ahead and know that I will be useful to someone in my life. Being ordained makes me feel even more committed to making a difference around here! Maybe I can keep the laughter down and make the prayer life go a little deeper!
