Welcome to My World!

When I arrived at work today I realized that I had left my keys on the desk in the church that I was locked out of. So I put myself in the fenced area and put the human one back in the car.  I wanted to appear to be responsible!  Seemed to work out ok.  When my administrative assistant got back from lunch, she let the human one out of the car and we all went to work.

First order of business was to make sure the man from the roofing company was ok.  I checked him out, and he was ok.  Then I had to patrol the downstairs.  Someone had left a door open that allowed me to check out things down stairs.  You may not realized it, but I have a very important job and it takes quite a bit of time to keep up with everything.


 After taking care of most of my responsibilities, I had a little snack and a nap in the warm sun of the glass doors!  Most days I really like coming to work.  Other days there is just too much going on around here and I'd rather stay at home. Today is a good day.  Busy but not crazy.  There is a big people meeting tonight so I'll lock myself in my office and try to go unnoticed!

I'm looking forward to the days ahead and know that I will be useful to someone in my life.  Being ordained makes me feel even more committed to making a difference around here!  Maybe I can keep the laughter down and make the prayer life go a little deeper!
